The rooms
Located in the stable block you’ll find three guest cottages, each sleeping two people. All cottages have been beautifully refurbished but still retain many original features such as beams, flagstone floors and an inglenook fireplace. Country Cottage is a lovely standard double with a New England feel, the far-eastern themed Colonial Cottage can be made up as a king-size double or a twin, and Claret Cottage is a large king-size double with a romantic feel. All cottages have en-suite facilities.
On the doorstep and nearby
Just a short bike ride or car journey from Thursford you’ll find the famous Fakenham Racecourse and the Georgian market town of Holt, a great spot for an afternoon of retail therapy. The coast is also nearby - if the sun is shining, be sure to enjoy a blustery walk at Cley, Holkham or Brancaster beach. If you’re after a historical activity, keep an eye out for the grand estates of Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Felbrigg, all of which are within easy reach.

Unfortunately children under 14 are not allowed. Holly Lodge are currently unable to accept pets. Bikes can be provided upon request.
