Adnams gin = great. Adnams gin hangover = not so ideal. Good news for you – we’ve picked the best brunch spots in Suffolk to make the next morning slightly more bearable.

The Kitchen @ Thorpeness, Thorpeness
There’s nothing like a bit of sea air to blow away the cobwebs (and the hangover). We recommend The Works Breakfast, but veggie options and light bites are also available for those slightly more fragile stomachs.

221B, Framlingham
There’s a Good4Me Breakfast on the menu - need we say more? Stock up on the carbs for later by buying some of the freshly made bread on offer.
The Pantry, Newmarket
Healthy granola and porridge to (still sort of healthy) French toast and bacon sandwiches. The Pantry Breakfast is awesome if you fancy a challenge, plus you can add in extras if you’re still feeling peckish.

The White Horse Inn, Stoke Ash
Breakfast is served until 11:30am – so you’re able to enjoy maximum beauty sleep (recovery time) beforehand.

Honey + Harvey, Woodbridge
Eggs Royale, Brioche French Toast, Posh Baked Beans and Cornbread… the list goes on. Loads of baked goodies are also on offer – go for one of the cheese scones or pain aux raisins.

And one to keep on the radar…

Gastrono-me, Bury St Edmunds
A place that takes breakfast seriously. Unfortunately it’s currently under refurb, but when it’s back up and running it’s the perfect destination for a hungover Sunday morning.
